RITTEC is highlighted in the press
In addition, the company was highlighted in the innovation section of the Flustix corporate website for inventing the revolTEX® technology. This enables the recycling of mixed textiles containing polyester.
Finally, in the Plastverarbeiter article "Viele Wege, ein klares Ziel: Warum viele Recyclingmethoden notwendig sind", RITTEC was presented as a solution for hard-to-recycle PET composite packaging. This interview was conducted with RITTEC's CEO Carsten Eichert at the the K-2002 trade fair in Düsseldorf.
revolPET® is the recycling technology that achieves the recycling of PET waste into high-quality products at the original quality, regardless of the input material. revolPET® implements the depolymerization and subsequent processing in a continuous operation with the highest yields and primary product quality. The revolPET® technology helps to solve the global challenges with PET packaging and to create new value-added options. The development of the revolPET® technology was funded as part of various public research projects and brought to technical maturity by RITTEC Umwelttechnik and TU Braunschweig in cooperation with other academic and industrial partners.
As part of the revolTEX® research and development project, supported by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, solutions have been development in which revolPET® technology is used to remove the impurities contained in the textile and to enable production of high quality monomers from the polyester fibres. The revolPET® technology is being used as the platform technology, adapted to the requirements of textile recycling.
